Sorry for so many comments. I meant to type "apex" but my machine corrected my typing, incorrectly!

No problem; thanks so much for taking time and comment, and although I don't want to change anything in this image, I appreciate your thoughts...:-)

The similar tonal values of the building and the sky are what make this also so well balanced.

In fact it isn't a sky, it is a wall that is a part of the building...:-)

Well that explains the similarity!

I like it. Consider a variation that crops off the left side, so that the Alex of the building then begins in the upper left corner.

I think doing that will provide an exhilarating sense of disorientation that is contrasted and grounded nicely by the organic plant figures in the lower area.

It was a while ago I did this one, and it still works fine for me. The square is also kind of important and your idea would change the ratio of the image, so thanks for the idea, but I will keep it as it is…:-)

It's beautiful. I love the asymmetry, and the graininess of the wall being duplicated in the graininess of the sky. It's brilliant.

Thanks so much (but it is no sky, it is a wall behind the wall...;))

I've seen this house before, in a summer/autumn diptych - and wanted to see it as a single. Here it is in pure simplicity. Well, thank you ;)

I have this building quite near where I live so I have taken a few shots at it from time to time. This one is however a recent shot...:-) Thanks.
